My Cousin Billy I came to know Billy on my first genealogical trip to Canada in 2004. We began the monthly telephone chats that became a part of our lives and we got even closer on my second genealogical trip in 2006. Billy was a dreamer but, he possessed a lot of grit and determination to keep plugging ahead in life in spite of the trials and tribulations he suffered from his medical problems. Billy always scolded me when I sent him something and said write larger so I can enjoy it. He loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and was always asking me if I watched the latest game. Billy loved Tim Horton's doughnuts and his morning coffee. He always said don't call me early cause I will be at Tim Horton's. I thought it was a shame when they told him he could only stay for a certain time and he would have to leave. Billy moved his morning coffee to MacDonald's where he enjoyed his coffee and a sweet roll. He could travel locally about anywhere on the bus and his little electric cart. He loved visiting our cousin Diane who provided a lot of mental and physical support to Billy. He was even side swiped crossing a street in his car. He got a ticket from the local police but managed to keep driving and enjoying his little bit of liberty. Billy was the proverbial blind in one eye and can't see out of the other: only it was true. That never slowed him down. I will miss Billy and I have already been missing our phone calls. I know he is in a better place. Jim Henderson
